7. BlockMedic (Website & Discord Bot)

AMPZ Network provides BlockMedic, a crash-log analysis platform available via our website and Discord bot. This section explains what data BlockMedic collects and how it is used.

7.1 Data We Collect

  • Uploaded Files: .log, .gz and .txt files you submit. These may include Minecraft version, mod loader, mods, Java/OS/GPU details, file paths, and error traces.
  • Generated Paste Data: paste ID, shareable link (view/raw), filename, file size, and expiration time.
  • Discord Metadata: Discord user ID, guild ID, channel ID, command used, and timestamps needed for bot operation and abuse prevention.
  • Service & Security Data: IP address and user-agent collected by our hosting/CDN providers for rate limiting and security purposes.

7.2 How We Use This Data

  • To convert and render logs with highlights and system details for troubleshooting.
  • To generate a clean, shareable BlockMedic link with expiry.
  • To ensure reliable service and protect against spam or abuse.

7.3 Automatic Snapshots (Bot Settings Only)

The BlockMedic bot can automatically take a daily snapshot of your guild’s bot settings (e.g., feature toggles, allowed channels, and role mappings specific to the bot) as a fallback in case an issue occurs. Snapshots do not include chat content, server roles themselves, member lists, or channel history. This feature is optional and can be disabled at any time.

  • Purpose: provide a quick recovery point for the bot’s configuration if it is reset, reinstalled, or misconfigured.
  • Restore Requirement: performing a restore requires proof of server ownership (e.g., screenshots of the server settings, a valid invite link to the server, or other reasonable verification).
  • Control: server owners/admins can enable/disable automatic snapshots and request deletion at any time.
  • Security: snapshots are stored with restricted access and are subject to routine retention/rotation limits.

7.4 Retention

Uploaded pastes are deleted 7 days from the original upload. Bot metadata is retained only as needed for operation and security. Automatic snapshots are retained according to the limits set in the bot’s settings; older snapshots may be rotated or purged.

7.5 AI-Powered Log Analysis

BlockMedic includes an optional AI analysis feature that can examine uploaded logs and provide a summary, suspected cause, and confidence score. This feature activates only when enabled in the bot or API settings.

  • Data Sent to the AI Provider: only the log content needed to generate the analysis, along with minimal prompt instructions.
  • Purpose: to help users quickly identify the cause of an issue and speed up troubleshooting.
  • Provider: depending on configuration, processing may be handled by a third-party AI service such as OpenAI or Google Gemini.
  • Visibility: when AI is used, BlockMedic clearly marks the output (e.g., “AI used”) so users know the analysis was produced automatically.
  • Opt-In: server owners may enable or disable AI-powered analysis at any time through the bot’s settings.

8. Voice Search

Our website may offer a voice search feature to enhance accessibility and user experience. When you use voice search:

  • Local Processing: The speech-to-text conversion is primarily handled by your web browser's built-in capabilities, which often utilize services provided by your browser's vendor. This means the audio of your voice input is processed on your device or by your browser's service provider, and is NOT sent to or stored on AMPZ Network's servers.
  • Search Query Transmission: Once your speech is converted into a text query, this text query is sent to our servers to perform the search on our website.
  • No Storage of Queries: AMPZ Network does NOT store or log the text queries submitted through the voice search feature on our servers.

By using the voice search feature, you acknowledge and agree to this processing.

9. Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.
